WHO WE ARE

About 2ndMilk

Other organizations have said that providing nutrition for malnourished babies in developing nations is too hard and too expensive. Because of this, the mortality rate below the age of 2 is very high. 2ndMilk is a 501c3 that is committed to saving the lives of malnourished and orphaned babies in third world countries around the globe. Whether they’ve been impacted by maternal mortality or other life-threatening circumstances, 2ndMilk provides critical nutritional assistance through baby formula and nutritional education for acute malnourished babies that are facing immediate starvation and death. This allows us to meet a need that others are not currently addressing.

BABY FORMULA

2ndMilk provides powdered formula to orphaned babies that have lost their mothers or do not have access to breast milk.

SHARING THE GOSPEL

The 2ndMilk program is centered around sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling those that know Jesus and preparing this next generation to lead their communities to Spiritual Freedom.

NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION

2ndMilk has a team of nutritionists that continually teach the local communities about proper education for their children living in the villages.

ACADEMIC EDUCATION

2ndMilk provides private education to the babies after they turn 5 years of age

CHICKEN HOUSES

2ndMilk builds small chicken farms that help create local protein, local jobs, and creates sustainable income used for private education of the orphans.

Collins Shaibu Baby Formula Sponsorship

Collins is one of 3 triplets born on October 18, 2020 weighing 4.8 lbs. His brothers are Roberto and Blessings. They entered our program at 6 weeks old on December 8, 2020. Collins only weighs 5.7 lbs. today at 6 weeks old.

Their mother, Lester Mdbendera is 24 years old and is alive but she cannot produce enough breastmilk to feed her 3 babies. The day they were enrolled we found them to be moderately malnourished. Their father, Milward Shaibu, is still alive as well but he is only a seasonal farmer and cannot afford to buy formula for these babies. Milward even works side jobs but it doesn't bring home enough to feed the entire family. The triplets have 1 other sibling named Simplex Shaibu as well.

Cow's milk will not provide enough nourishment for these sweet babies and they need proper nutrition through formula to grow healthy. Would you consider sponsoring one or all 3 of them today?
