RESCUING MALNOURISHED BABIES

SPONSOR A BABY

100% of the 2ndMilk sponsorships go directly to saving the lives of the most vulnerable babies living in developing countries.

Our plan is to restore malnourished babies back to health, teach them about the love of Jesus, and provide them with the best education possible in order to raise the next generation of leaders in each nation.

WHO WE ARE

About 2ndMilk

Other organizations have said that providing nutrition for malnourished babies in developing nations is too hard and too expensive. Because of this, the mortality rate below the age of 2 is very high. 2ndMilk is a 501c3 that is committed to saving the lives of malnourished and orphaned babies in third world countries around the globe. Whether they’ve been impacted by maternal mortality or other life-threatening circumstances, 2ndMilk provides critical nutritional assistance through baby formula and nutritional education for acute malnourished babies that are facing immediate starvation and death. This allows us to meet a need that others are not currently addressing.

WHAT WE DO

2ndMilk Programs

01

BABY FORMULA

2ndMilk provides powdered formula to orphaned babies that have lost their mothers or do not have access to breast milk.

02

SHARING THE GOSPEL

The 2ndMilk program is centered around sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling those that know Jesus and preparing this next generation to lead their communities to Spiritual Freedom.

03

NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION

2ndMilk has a team of nutritionists that continually teach the local communities about proper education for their children living in the villages.

04

ACADEMIC EDUCATION

2ndMilk provides private education to the babies after they turn 5 years of age

05

CHICKEN HOUSES

2ndMilk builds small chicken farms that help create local protein, local jobs, and creates sustainable income used for private education of the orphans.

We visited the baby on 21st May 2021, she is now 10 months old and weighs 17.6lbs. The baby is sick today. She has had diarrhea since last night. Although she is sick, she is not looking sick and the guardian says she had eaten properly in the morning. We advised the guardian to take the baby to the hospital to seek medical advice.

The guardian is in good health, she still lives in a grass thatched house and sleeps on a mat together with the baby and his twin brother. They eat 2 or 3 times a day. Their food is nsima and Phala. They depend on farming and piece works for a living. The problem they face is that the money they get is not enough to support the family and the baby especially because they are twins. The other problem is that the hospital is very far, and it is a private hospital so they lack money to take the babies to the hospital whenever they fall sick.
